Description

We are seeking a highly driven, resilient, and inquisitive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing revenue team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospects to help fuel a high-quality sales pipeline. You will work closely with both Sales and Marketing to target the right accounts, craft personalized outreach, and develop meaningful early-stage relationships with potential customers. This is a high-impact position suited for individuals who love problem-solving, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are hungry to exceed their targets.

Job responsibilities

Pipeline Generation & Qualification
- Identify, research, and prospect high-value target accounts within assigned territories or verticals.
- Execute outbound sales motions—including cold calling (heavy volume), emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and other omnichannel touchpoints—to engage decision-makers.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to determine fit, business needs, urgency, and buying intent.
- Maintain deep familiarity with target personas, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

Collaboration & Enablement
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to align on campaign strategies, lead quality, and account priorities.
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable insights to Account Executives to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
- Share learnings and best practices with the SDR team to continuously refine messaging, workflows, and conversion tactics.

Tools, Processes & Reporting
- Manage all prospecting activities, cadences, and data entry within Salesforce, Salesloft (or Outreach), and other sales engagement platforms.
- Maintain accurate lead and activity tracking to support forecasting and pipeline reporting.
- Leverage enrichment, research, and GTM tools such as ZoomInfo, Lusha, Sales Navigator, and AI-driven platforms to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Performance & Ownership
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas for meetings booked, qualified pipeline sourced, and activity metrics.
- Exhibit strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills—managing a large volume of activities without sacrificing quality.
- Work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative, team-oriented culture

Requirements

Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in SDR/BDR or similar business development roles, ideally within B2B SaaS or enterprise sales environments.
- Experience selling or prospecting into enterprise accounts preferred.
- Background in the telecommunications (telco) industry is a strong plus.

Skills & Competencies
- Strong interest and enthusiasm for technology, especially GenAI and emerging innovation trends.
- Excellent research skills with an ability to uncover key business pains, buying signals, and stakeholder needs.
- Proficiency with GenAI tools for research, personalization, and productivity.
- Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—with the ability to quickly build rapport.
- High resilience and mental toughness: comfortable handling rejection, managing objections, and keeping high-energy activity levels.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, quota-driven environment.
- Team-first mentality with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
